All About Me

Mel has been a Reiki Master in the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition since 1990. Mel was one of the first Reiki Masters to teach Reiki in London. Mel was initiated by Frank Coppieters, who was initiated by Phil Morgan and Phyllis Furumoto- former lineage bearer.

Mel has a background as a teacher; social worker and dramatherapist. Mel sat on the Uk Reiki Council - the leading body for Reiki- for 10 years and she is a verifying officer for the Reiki Association Uk. Mel uses Reiki to treat the mind, the body and the spirit.

Mel is dedicated to fostering the practice of  Reiki, and has established a renowned and well respected professional practice in London and also internationally. Mel has taught Reiki in Greece, Hungary, Israel, Austria and America. She is happy to go and teach Reiki whereever I am invited.

Mel teaches Reiki 1 and Reiki ll. both in small groups and individually for adults as well as children. Mel also trains Reiki Masters.Mel has experience of teaching a diverse range of students, such as; families, adolescent groups, teachers, psycotherapists, accupuncturists, yoga teachers, oesteopaths, homeopaths, doctors, nurses, musicians, pregnant women, people going through bereavement and trauma. People who want to heal and empower themselves.

Mel is still, after all these years in Reiki, amazed by the power of Reiki and the simplicity of this  loving hands on healing.

Mel loves giving treatments and teaching  Reiki and is so thankful that Reiki is in her life.
